There is only one version of REAPER. We offer two licenses, depending
on how you use it.
$225: full commercial license.
$60: discounted license.
You may use the discounted license if any of the following is true:
- You are an individual, using REAPER only for personal use.
- You are an individual or business, using REAPER for commercial use, and the yearly gross revenue does not exceed USD $20,000.
- You are an educational or non-profit organization.
Honest Business Model
We offer a good product at a fair price.
We don't spend money and effort on marketing, complicated piracy protection, or other things that do not directly improve REAPER and the user experience.
We think the good will generated by playing fair and being responsive to users is more valuable to our business than short-term profits.
What You Get
There's only one version of REAPER. One complete,
solid, full-featured digital audio workstation.
Your one-user, full-use license includes up to two major version numbers' worth of REAPER's famous frequent upgrades.
Purchasing a license now includes upgrades through REAPER 5.99.
REAPER 3.0 licenses purchased in 2009 are still valid for REAPER 4.x, and have seen over 100 free upgrades and counting.
No Risk
Please download the fully functional evaluation version of REAPER before purchasing.The evaluation version of REAPER is complete and uncrippled. There are no artificial interruptions or restrictions, and you can save and load projects normally.
We believe in giving you a fair chance to make sure that REAPER works correctly with your hardware and suits your workflow.
Lightweight Installation
The REAPER installer simply copies REAPER and its support files
to disk. It does not install anything except itself.
If after 60 days you decide that REAPER is not for you, simply delete it.
If you decide that REAPER is for you, you must purchase a license.
No Intrusive Copy Protection
We believe that technological enforcement of copy protection is not in the best interest of our customers.
The evaluation version of REAPER is fully functional, even without a license key.
Payment Selection & Purchase
Paypal accepts credit card or bank transfer.
In most countries, you do not need a PayPal account to purchase REAPER through PayPal.
Your license will be delivered prompty via email.
FastSpring accepts payments via credit card, and may charge sales tax or VAT depending on where you live.
Your license will be delivered promptly via email.
Purchase a license directly from Cockos by sending a check or money order in US dollars drawn on a US bank.

Your license allows you to use REAPER on one computer at a time.
Multiple REAPER installs for use by the same person are fine (home/studio/laptop, Win32/x64/OSX).

Classroom Licenses
We also offer classroom licenses. A classroom licenses is a single license key that can be installed on multiple computers in a classroom setting, for use by multiple students.
For classroom license pricing, email licensing@cockos.com and let us know how many students you would like to license, and how many computers are in the classroom.
If you wish to upgrade a discounted license to full license for the difference in price, inquire about bulk license discounts, would like to pay in Bitcoin, or have any other special licensing needs, please email licensing@cockos.com.
